| Project Description | : | Sule Wharf Terminal was built by Second World War. Our client wants to renovate that old one without big changes of the existing structure but they want to use Quay Crane for container vessels (maximum 15,000 DWT). Design of Pile Foundation for that new Quay Crane is a big challenge in that project. To accommodate a rail span of 18m Quay Crane supported by Pre-stressed Spun Piles, those piles need not to be clashed with existing ones which will have around 4 types of sections. The newly designed piling layout will also have to align with 4 different sections of those existing ones, but to keep the same rail span 18m along Quay Crane Line. |
